I did a two-mile bookends with just eight by a quarter in the middle, so two-mile buy-in, eight by quarter, two-mile cash out, which is pretty classic.
If I had, like, one workout that I had to replicate where I felt like I got it all, it would be a version of that.
Now, we have a episode like this coming out later in the week, but the last time we talked about a question of, if you could only have one single workout-
... a quality session to do the rest of your life, I think at least one of us chose the split tempo.
I just like, I like the-- Like, if I were half marathon training, I might do, like, a three-mile buy-in, quarters in the middle, three mile.
But it's just, like, you build fatigue, you force the legs to turn over, and then you force some vicinity on the cash out again, and it's just, like, something you can't fake.
It teaches you energy management, and you feel like you still get turnover with stay power.
Which is a beautiful thing for endurance athletes, to have to r- work from stride one to keep your stride nice.
So the question is for you, what would you-- what would your rest setup be on this session? So obviously, I know what I already did.
