It's one thing like, man, three years ago when we started making barrels in-house, it all came about from being a decade in the industry and knowing the right people and developing relationships, because there's stuff that we're doing now that we, I just, it would not have happened with the relationships I didn't spend 10 years developing.
And that's, you know, talking to a guy in their early mid twenties, that's just starting with no connections, no experience.
It's like, man, you're going to, you're going to want to, you're going to have to grind it out and you're, you're either going to have to get really lucky.
But there's a lot of, you know, we went down this side, it's like, okay, we've got this opportunity.
I'm going to call this person, which I know really well and was able to get mentored into barrel making with people that I'd known for over a decade and then other people and connections and stuff.
And it's nice to be able to pop open your phone and be like, hey, I'm having issues with this.
We wouldn't be making premium barrels now if I hadn't gotten lucky enough to meet and develop connections and relationships over a decade plus.
Yeah, I say the same thing even like about smartwatches because people always are like, how do you build a smartwatch? I'm like, well, I don't know anything, but I have the connections to find the right people who know the right things.
And like, again, you know, you... shoot an elephant in the village shows up to help in some way.
I get the, the biggest asset I have is just like a decade worth of relationships, providing value, helping other people.
Like 20, I'll say even 30 year old Cody, 30 year old Cody couldn't just be like, I'm going to build a garment competitor.
And like, you know, you know, a decade of knowing Remy and like all of these things that like that don't come.
And that's tough because if you're like, well, how do I get started? Sometimes you just have to start and like build relationships.
