"Batteries don't generate electricity, they generate solutions," Christian Sanchez says. It's a line that gets at something real: if you're not selling energy the way a solar or wind plant does, you…

Michael ThornhillHostSo, um, what I'm hearing here is, you know, in addition to that, is that as you've got those people who come in with those drive, ensuring that that motivation, that drive is aligned with the company vision, with that of the direct management team, so everyone is, is kind of coming back to that central theme of We're here to drive this transition forward, and then when those moments, you know, inevitably can get a little bit stressful, some deadlines can arise, you know, some things don't go exactly as planned first time round, that there's that kind of through line of, "Hey, we all have the same goal here." And I, and you've already said it in so many different words, but, like, if I was to ask you directly, what, what is your drive and, and your motivation?

I mean, we're, we're h- so just to kind of, uh, close the loop on the last question, uh, I think we're humans, right? At some point we need, uh, we need, uh, uh, to remember why we're here, right?

At some point things get complicated, things get stressful, and but we need to understand and remember why we're doing what we're doing, which is something like we're trying to solve something that is, like, that is big, has a big impact in the planet, at the civilization level.

And, and sometimes we get lost in, in, in, in, in the small details in, in the project stuff that we do, but we need to remember the big picture.

We're part of that, right? And, and that is m- that motivates me at the end of the day, putting gigawatts, megawatts into the grid, be clean megawatts, clean electricity into the grid.

It's something that helps me to keep motivated, 'cause that's my, my personal goal is to do that, to bring renewable energy and help on the transition to reduce climate change.

And every time we do that, I mean, it motivates me, right? For as hard as it sometimes it can get in some of the projects and, and as difficult as it, it can be, I tend to zoom out a lot and, and remembering what I, why I'm here.

Remembering that what we're doing is, is for something that is, that is good for everybody, right? For generations to come.

I do try to see the whole forest, the big picture, and that's what keeps me, uh, driven to do this, 'cause w- I see results.

I see a lot of, uh, of, of projects coming online, uh, helping, um, decarbonize the economy.
