Is it is it just him or is it a broader group of elected officials that are repeating what you would say is just something not true? Yeah.

there's a well-organized disinformation campaign about environmental issues.

And it has been for, since I've been in this thing for sure for the last 20 plus years.

Um, I really think that there are, uh, certainly there are politicians and groups of politicians who, uh, gain more power by dividing us than uniting us.

You know, you need to have a, you need to have an enemy.

You need to have a boogeyman where every campaign there's gotta be a them.

Uh, and sometimes it's a particular race of people.

Sometimes it's, You know, those environmentalists, those conservationists, or sometimes it's a particular religious group, whatever.

Having a boogeyman really is important to a lot of people, and it helps them hang on to power or gain discipline.

Yes, they are doing this on purpose.

And as I mentioned, I think last week, there's been a very well-organized effort in the last couple of decades to lump a bunch of particular issues together as being quote-unquote liberal.

And I don't think environmentalism should be one of those because we all benefit from a healthy environment.

You want to drink clean water and hunt in healthy forests.

Where you clean air, that doesn't make you a liberal.

It makes you a smart human being.
