Fayetteville

Yeah.

I mean, you know, my first newspaper job Maria was at the Arkansas Democrat Gazette in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

And, um, I was hired as like the kid who knew how the internet worked and come and make us have good internet on the newspaper because they were uploading like black and white photos to the website.

It was like real basic.

And then we would cut the PDFs up and then upload the stories backwards into the system for the website.

And then like when we were done, it'd be like 2 a.m. And I'd like go out for a cigarette or I'd go out to like leave.

And there would be in the back where the old press was, it would be the Northwest Arkansas Times in Fayetteville, which was where the Arkansas Gazette was kind of like headquartered in Fayetteville.

In the back room, there was the old press area.

Yeah.

And I haven't been up to Fayetteville in a really long time, but I've heard that it is just not just a college town.

It's kind of like what happened in Austin where – People in the 90s and 2000s, it used to be that people from Dallas and Houston went to UT and they graduated and then they went back home.

Well, then in the 90s, they stayed there.

Some people hate it now.

Some people are like, cool, it's kind of mini LA or whatever you want to say.

But that's happened in Fayetteville.

A bunch of people went to college there, stayed there, and then all this kind of industry built up.

So Razorbacks play at home on Saturday against North Alabama.

That game will be in Fayetteville.

Mizzou actually opens Thursday.

So if you're hearing this Saturday, you already know how that came out.

How much do you expect, and I don't know if Coach talked about it, do you expect the elevation and the late kick to be a factor tomorrow?

Yeah, elevation, he didn't seem to be that concerned because, you know, Fayetteville is around, I want to say, $1,300, $1,500.

And out here or out there, it's going to be like $5,500.

So it's not massive, but I'm going to feel it probably with my bad lungs.

A new beginning, you know, going to start from zero, kind of, and build community and try to bring some of these things that we were able to do here together together.
