Creating a Culture That Changes Lives with Mark Faulkner

I appreciate you taking the time to come over today.

You know, you are... a unique person in my orbit.

Let me rephrase that.

You're a unique person for my orbit.

You know, we all carry an orbit around.

We're all walking around and we're thinking about things and I haven't known you long enough for you to take up as much space in my mind as you take up.

I mean, what have we known each other, four or five

years? At the most,

yeah, at the most.

And I told somebody the other day, They said, hey, can you list your seven or eight, the seven or eight most influential people in your life, the seven or eight people that you would go to with an issue that you depend on, that you think about, they're a kind of hunting, fishing person and a business person and a life person.

I mean, do you have seven or eight? And I listed seven and one of them was you.

And so I was like, wow.

And I told Polly, I said, Mark has a really unusual place within the orbit that I carry around because most of the other guys I've known for like 20 years.

Well, I'm honored that you feel that way.

I'm humbled by that because I feel the same way.

You've been in my orbit for much longer because I've been reading your books and I've been listening to you and knowing about you, but not knowing you.

And so you were in my headspace long before that.

That's why I actually sought you out when I finally got to meet you a few years back.

Well, it was funny because it was at a Florida Power and Light event.

That's right.

And I was the speaker.

And- And we talked afterwards and exchanged phone numbers and we've been like texting and calling and having dinner and lunch and all ever since.

And our wives are, I think our wives like each other better, certainly better than you like me.

And so, but I have become fascinated by the times that I've gone over to the hospital.

And I've had the opportunity to go over for several testing things and for a couple of procedures.
