i think i'm most proud of like the work that i put in to prepare myself like mentally because i think lots of the time people think birth is you know it is kind of like a marathon for your body as well but i think having your mind in like top condition really does do the trick like well for me anyway like my mindset was what got me through and yeah just like made me love birth like yeah so that's what I think I'm most proud of is just like getting myself doing the work to like educate myself and then putting in the work to you know give myself like the best fighting chance i can yeah
and what i love is that you notice when your mindset dipped when you were in the hospital and you escaped for a little bit well you you knew that you needed to get out
yeah
i always wonder what would it be like if our hospitals or like even the birthing spaces and hospitals were in the bush near the beach or near a lake or an ocean had trees around and you could go outside and there was lots of windows and decks and you know, you could have outside so close, would it be a different feeling? Because yes, it would, because you wouldn't be stuck in a concrete jungle.
And
I bet there'd be much lower C-section rates as well.
Probably.
But yeah, let's, let's not debate the C-section rates because, oh my goodness, that's a whole nother topic on its own.
That's rising.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So yeah.
So you noticed when your mindset was dipping, you took some measures to help improve that.
Yeah.
And if you could go back in time, Hayley, is there anything that you would tell pre-pregnant Hayley?
I would just tell, I would just tell myself like, you can do it and
yeah,
you're
going to,
You're going to have some good births.
Just do the work and,
yeah,
hypnobirthing.
I think everyone should do hypnobirthing, all pregnant mums.
Oh, I totally agree with that comment.
