We’re Back! Weddings, Broken Gear & What’s Next

Yeah really good it's been I had a really slow start this year so not very few weddings until I think I had one in February one in maybe April but then that was it but now it's just every weekend there's two and we talked about the house move already but The plan was to try and move house in the spring so that by now it was, you know, we just clattered straight into the busiest time of year.

And when you're sorting out so much other stuff in your life, whether it's house or relationship, whatever else it is, it really takes a hit on your ability to sit down and edit and get through.

So I am behind on a lot of stuff.

I'm not at the point where I'm going to be late.

But I'm further away from being early than I would like.

Do you know what I mean? So you feel there's always that tension there, which I've not had for a few years, where every time I'm trying to watch TV, I'm thinking...

you, doesn't it? I mean, my little office that I'm talking to you from now is literally across the way to our living room.

We've been watching Silo on Apple TV.

We got addicted to that recently.

I don't know if you've watched that.

Is that good? Yeah, it's a post-apocalyptic,

you know, they're all living in a giant tube in the ground, hence the name Silo.

I won't say any more, but it is good.

But while I'm watching it, I'm thinking, oh, I should be editing.

You know, but then we're sticking to our quoted lead

times.

So that's, you know, that's, that's poses the name of the game.

And

then you've got to have time where you're not that, that, and this, we've talked about this before.

If you're any small business, the temptation is because it's the perfect storm of your business.

Typically the revenue is pretty much proportional to that work you do.

And you directly benefit from that revenue.
