Massive Mistakes And The First Round Table: The Traitors New Blood Episode 2 Recap

And I'm so glad that I paused and watched it separately right because when that you know when that auto resume happens and you move right into the next episode it's so easy to just keep watching it because we were doing these recaps i paused i watched it twice i took my notes and boy am i glad that i did i don't think i've been as in on a show after two episodes without recurring characters as i am on this season of traders i think it's phenomenal

oh my god it is a master class of everything being perfect i am so invested in this and i don't even know who these people are but they are all tv gold to me Right away.

And this episode illustrates one of my favorite things that happens on Traders.

And watching it play out and happen to a normie was absolutely electric.

I'm talking about Christy.

Obviously, we're going to spend a huge portion of the episode on Christy because of the massive fuck-up that she produced.

But before we get there, we do have to spend some time on...

I believe it's Kim slash Coach K.

Yes.

We talked about it in the F1 breakdown.

The...

You kind of know when you watch these things, there's like editorial tricks that you pick up on.

If someone's getting a ton of like juice right off the rip, they're probably going to be a star or they're going to get eliminated right away.

I was hoping it would be the first scenario and not the latter.

Coach Kim, I believe gone too soon, but we talked about what a big swing and now we realize in a miss it was to come in with essentially a full backstory alter ego and start the deception right off the bat.

Do you think that that played into her being eliminated?

Oh, yeah.

I mean, here's the thing.

She's already well-spoken, well-dressed, articulate.

Her eyes give the eyes that I am clocking everything that is happening.

And now, lawyer...

It's one thing, but they even said it in their discussion why they were afraid of her.

She's a coach, right? Oh, she's used to getting a team hyped up, pulling out motivation, swaying things.

If the game's not going your way as a coach, you got to pull something out of your team to get a win, right? And I think that's what they were afraid of.

They were thinking more roundtable discussion in that realm, and they didn't want somebody that was a good orator, and clearly she presented herself as that.
