Well, today we're talking about our new website, empoweredemployees.com. First, I was curious, how long has this website kind of been in the works? And when did the idea for a one-stop shop for employee information really come into play?

Yeah, so we've had the idea for a couple of years now, and it's been in the works for probably a year and a half.

It's gone through a lot of different iterations, but we really wanted to provide a tool for public employees to learn about these options when they want to leave their union.

There's really not a lot of information just out there on the internet about what public employees can do if they want to decertify their union.

So this website is designed to answer a lot of those questions that people may have.

Who else from the Freedom Foundation team worked on it? If it's been through a few iterations, I assume it's been through a lot of different people's hands to try and make it the best of what it could be.

this website is primarily meant to reach public employees who are looking for more information, but I know there are probably other stakeholders who would benefit from finding this sort of website, like different administrators or people who are involved with the union who maybe just haven't been able to question it yet.

Can you talk about the different people that this might reach and benefit in getting our mission?

I mean, I think it could potentially benefit any type of public employee who is in a union or, you know, especially if a union is approaching them and trying to organize these employees.

I think that, you know, if they're doing some online research and they're learning about the process to get out, they could see how difficult it can be once a group is unionized to kind of undo that process because it can be a little bit involved.

So definitely those folks, I think, Administrators, as you mentioned, people who are working on the management side may be interested to just understand what the process looks like, especially if a decertification petition is filed and they may not have any experience with that before because it's not something that happens every day.

I think this website could be helpful in helping those public employers to understand how the process works.
