I mean, what else do you say? Um, it's tough when you have to interview a kid that probably knows the hospital layouts better than some of the staffs and where the elevators [laughs], the washrooms are.

And you know, just, um, having that conversation with her, and she just carries her medical history around with her in her head, all the diagnoses, the medications, the allergies, the surgeries, the test results, the questions for the next doctor.

When you get an interview like that, one of the things for me is I can show up with 100 pre-thought-out questions, and you end up just wanting to have a conversation and just learn more about what their life looks like.

Because I raised two kids, and I've been so fortunate that to this point I haven't had to worry about situations like that.
