So how long have you been going on this musical journey? What's been your experience so far?
Well, I've I mean, my musical journey started when I was a kid, but then as far as trying to go out sort of venture out beyond where i grew up and play music for people and just kind of see how that goes that kind of started when i was 18 i started busking did a road trip across the country with some friends and actually went through colorado on that trip went all the way out to the west coast so i got a feel for just setting up opening a guitar case playing fiddle tunes and johnny cash songs and seeing how much music would mean to people when you surprise them with it and that's
always been a part of what i do but it's i kind of have a fiddle background so i played fiddle growing up and i still like to play fiddle in other bands sometimes or just play fiddle and jam sessions bluegrass jams
old time jams things like that but for me songwriting now is kind of taking a turn down that
road of what i do when i open my guitar case and play for people so i'm on that path of playing singer songwriter music and I love the chance to play for people who are just kind of ready to go for the journey of the night with me, like the different stories and the different songs and the characters and what it kind of opens up in them.
Yeah, it wasn't something that I was really thinking about at the beginning when I was just writing songs.
And with that band, it was a little more focused on like, oh, here's a flashy fiddle solo or a fast fiddle tune or here's a flashy mandolin solo.
