Talk Nerdy to Me | September 8th, 2026

Yes, both of us are still playing Yakuza Kiwami 2.

Um, and it is quite good.

There's a couple of things about it that I, uh, am waiting for Miles to be able to see so that we can have a conversation, 'cause one of them doesn't sit super well with me-

Hmm

... um, for a reason that has nothing to do with the game itself, and probably actually makes some sense in how to do something.

I just think maybe it doesn't look great.

Um...

Yeah, and there, there's, I mean, just like the last one, there, there are some, some wild quests.

Um, some are more fun than others.

Some promise to be fun, like the J-horror one that I was really hoping I'd get to fight a ghost.

Like-

Which one is that one?

I really wanna fight a ghost.

I don't, I don't know that I've, I've done that one.

Uh, you f- so some dude is like standing on a corner-

Oh, yep, yep.

I remember that now.

I remember that now.

Yeah.

And i- it's not bad.

It's just like, like it's a fun little quest, but like I really wanted to like fight a ghost.

Uh, 'cause at least, uh, the first Kiwami gave me, you know, zombie Majima.

[laughs]

Uh, which was stupid and fun.

[laughs] It was very stupid and very fun.
