Like I, you know, the amount of women that I, in my own circle, that I have seen struggle, gain weight, drink too much, way too much, get angry, get bitter, don't want to live, be contemplating suicide, be depressed.

But to understand what is happening to a woman through her 40s and 50s and get to the point, which I call sovereignty, where in your 50s, you get to the point where you just don't give a fuck anymore, but you actually have more compassion for people than you ever did in your 20s or 30s.

I always will have hold space for people, but I have to make sure my cup is full enough to do it.

Where 10 years ago, 13 years ago, if I had gotten a phone call from my girlfriend, I would have dropped everything, grabbed a bottle of wine and been out that door and been like, how can I help you? Even though I was depleted.

We take care of our kids, our husband, our girlfriends, everything else until we have nothing left.

You know, the rate of people getting divorced over the age of 45, 50 is at 70% right now.
you kind of, you see it, as you said, like you understand it in a poor way, but you understand it because of the hormonal change, the dysregulation and the understanding, the non-understanding.
