Summer has a habit of throwing people off track... Holidays BBQs Drinks Family days out Late nights Before you know it...the routine disappears But here's the thing... You don't have to choose…
But one of the big things that I see is so many guys just completely drop their standards.
They go from one extreme to next.
They go from maybe looking after themselves or not being in a particularly great place to then all of a sudden just drinking every single weekend, eating copious amounts of junk food.
And then ultimately that affects your summer.
It affects how you turn up to your parties.
It affects how you socialise and it affects how you feel because you might be going out at the weekends with your mates.
You might be socialised with the family.
But then come Monday morning, that event has finished.
You've got to wake up.
You've got to turn up to work.
And I've been there myself many, many times where I've woken up on a Monday after having a splurge, whether it was alcohol back in the day or whether it was just consuming too much food at a family get together.
And I know that feeling of dread when you are like, oh, my gosh, I've got five jam packed days.
I don't feel particularly good.
I don't like how I'm looking.
I look puffy.
I look bloated.
I feel tired.
I feel sluggish.
And all of a sudden, it can take you maybe two or three days, presuming that you get back onto your diet before you start to feel better again.
And then before you know it, you're back to the weekend again.
