And so if there's a desire, there's a way, and you can get really creative without any specialty tools.
We own a small hand mixer, a toaster oven, um, and, like, maybe, like, a chopping machine, uh, and that's it.
And, um, it's actually easier if we don't have all of those once-in-a-while-use items cluttering things.
And I think a lot of the times we're sold by advertisers this idea that the air fryer...
I mean, how many air fryers are going to be in Goodwill or already are because that trend is kind of going away now?
Um, I think we're often tricked into thinking, "I'm gonna eat healthy or serve my family better if I buy this thing," and it takes up a ton of space and maybe is used for a while, but you never needed the thing to do, to achieve the goal.
And I think part of the issue, too, something that I've learned, um, a friend of mine, Rebecca Thomas, her business is Not Another Diet.
She teaches this amazing minimalist cooking course, and, um, she teaches people basic kitchen skills.
She's like, "Look, you need, like, two or three good knives, a mixing bowl, uh, you know, extra virgin olive oil, and, like, a few, uh, capsule wardrobe type ingredients, and you can make anything, and it's simple.
You do not need all of these crazy ingredients, all of these crazy tools to be a good chef and to make delicious tasting food." So sometimes, um, not necessarily in the caller's case, but for a lot of us, I think we clutter our kitchens because we don't have the understanding of what we really need.
I think that also applies to our bathrooms and other cabineted areas.
