That's kind of, why should I be feeling like this? And it's almost like from the outside, everything seemed perfect, but from the inside, it was far from perfect.

And that's the piece around listening to your own emotions, and emotions are wise.

And again, my, my work with educators was teaching social emotional skills, emotional intelligence, so this is something that I know, that I teach, that I have the tools for.

And I was seeing what was happening, but it was, again, more like noise in the background.

And sometimes it does take that moment of realization to really take the pause.

And I know for some of your, uh, listeners, that's the part where the reinvention starts.

... just look at everything holistically and realize, okay, things are not what they used to be, or I'm not feeling the same way, and not judge it, which is our natural tendency, but approach it with curiosity.

And that, for me, once I, I was able to say, "Oh, the, we need this pause," right? And I need to ask questions, open-ended, "What am I feeling? Why am I feeling this way? What's missing?" Right? And really sit with that situation for a little bit to really try to understand.
