Jacob CotsonikaHostHave you ever faced a quarterback who knew more about, not that that means anything, but just-

There have been a time in the past where we went against a guy that had transferred and was a starter somewhere else, so yeah.
How different exactly is the system that he's running in, though, with Chip Kelly and Jerry Uhasla? You know the individual very well, but the system that he's in seems pretty out there.

Yeah, I mean, on first and second down, they're being very creative, creating matchups and doing a good job of creating some indecision with the run fits.

I think, obviously, they're running a lot of wing tee plays and doing a really good job with it.

Obviously, they're doing some things with the receivers and with the depth and moving them around.

So, yeah, I think it's pretty unique what they're doing, and it's a testament to them because they're scoring a lot of points and moving the ball and running the ball for a lot of yards against some good defenses.
When you look at the cut-ups and just what they've done offensively, how many times do you look back and go, I haven't seen this in years or I haven't seen this style used in a while? Yeah, I mean –

Back in the day when we played Grove City and when I was at Allegheny, we played Susquehanna.

he left the year before I was there, but we saw their offense, which is really good.
What have you just observed about sort of his career and the way he's evolved? It seems like he's evolved several times, so it's not just the same thing probably necessarily he was running back then.
Just sort of the creativity he brings to that chip, specifically that role and sort of his influence, I guess, on football.

Yeah, I think he just does a good job of taking the parts that he has and fitting them into a system to put them in position to be successful.
