Our episode opens with Ted giving the nightly news.
And Ted says, point to Wally when he's supposed to be handing it over to Wally for the sports.
And instead of pointing to Wally, he says, point to Wally, aggravating Murray, of course.
And then the phone rings and we don't hear the other end of the conversation, but Mary seems to be having a smile on her face as Lou comes out of the office and put some papers on Mary and Murray's desk.
Lou looks on at Mary as she's on the phone and seeming annoyed.
And then Lou asks if anyone remembers the memo I sent out about personal phone calls at work.
Lou yells at Mari for an answer when Mary laughs into the phone.
And Mari says, yes, they were never allowed and they're forbidden.
Guest stars Shizuku Imiatsu playing Mamamoto.
And Lou finally asks Mary to step into his office.
And Mary says, sure, no problem.
And Lou says, well, don't let me break up your conversation when you're done.
And Mary says, I am done.
The phone calls for you.
And obviously this is Lou's friend.
Mary asks Lou, I'm sorry, Mary asks Murray how well he knows Mr. Cooper.
And Murray says he knows him not well, but they know each other.
And Mary says, well, she's never met him in person.
He sounds interesting, likes his voice.
And Murray says to be prepared to be disappointed.
When I came to this station, there was a guy that sounded like that on the phone.
But when I met him, it turned out to be a complete utter dud.
And on cue, Ted walks into the newsroom being now off the air.
