Elaborating more on some q's from my Q&A these past few weeks - topics discussed: -Controlling yourself around food at tailgates/events -Is 20min of cardio 4x/week enought? -Is micro-dosing GLP-1…
First question is any tips to avoid picking at food and grazing at a tailgate all day this weekend? I'm bringing the fruit, LOL.
I've definitely talked about this on Instagram before, but like, you know, it's fucking tailgate season, dude.
We got WNBA, right? They're kind of gearing up for playoffs and all that good stuff coming up here soon.
challenge but you know amazing time of the year because there are so many things that you get to do outdoors or with friends or with family or camping or barbecues or work function stuff or happy hour like there's just there's just an infinite amount of things to do for a lot of people unless you live in like the fucking south and you know uh in vegas and Arizona where it's pretty much your winter I have a few clients that live in you know St. Louis in like Dallas for example and I swear they've I think Dallas set the record for the most consecutive days above 100 degrees in the month of September this last week or something like that so you guys just been getting hammered but you know this time of year is peak time for most places around the country and whether you've been caved in and fucking burning all summer or maybe summer is the best time of the year and you live in Chicago or kind of the Midwest and cold season is going to be coming around the corner.
Like September, October to me is one of the best times of the year because there's so many things happening, right? And there's so many things you could do outside.
And usually the temperature is a little bit more controlled and, you know, the days are a little bit crispier or the morning's a little bit cooler.
And, you know, you could just do more things outside in nature with your people and tailgating is one of them.
And that's why I wanted to talk about this question because it's, you know, maybe you don't have a college team or NFL team and you're not out there tailgating every weekend, but this, this does apply to all other you know, special occasions, I guess we can throw in quotations here that you will likely see at some capacity and especially going into the holiday season.
Like this is, this is especially relevant to you going into a Halloween night, right? Or Thanksgiving or having leftovers or doing your new year's Eve and Christmas related stuff or Hanukkah, whatever it is, right? There's I don't want people to be afraid of that, but I also need you guys to appreciate that we still have control and you don't need to let the environment or people around you or just the exposure to food dictate your decision to eat no matter what.
So there's a few ways that I think I can answer this question, right? And I think...
It depends is the way we have to start this as with every question, but there's going to be a few different routes and we'll kind of talk about a few different mindsets.
I think we can go into it, but I think, you know, for you, you've acknowledged that like, Hey, you might struggle and there are, you know, exposures that make it more challenging for you to control yourself or to restrain yourself around food.
