Yeah, so we're out in the Costa del Sol.

It's great having you guys here.

We were at Hacienda Lynx yesterday in the Fairmont.

What did you guys think of that as an opener? I mean, you guys had an early flight at about three o'clock in the morning.

Yeah, you were quarter past

three.

I was like half three straight out here.

I mean, La Hacienda was incredible yesterday.

And I don't want to get overexcited.

I know sometimes I can get overexcited and say these things.

But for me, that course feels top five in the courses that I've played.

And I always have Kinta South in that list because Portugal has a big place in my heart.

And I love golf like what you have in Portugal and over here.

But I think La Hacienda is better than Kinta South for me.

Do you ever find it hard to compute how nice a course is? I was literally just playing it going, I can't, my brain almost has a limit to how nice, it feels like I'm in a computer game.

Yeah.

I think when you got to that fourth green, fifth tee with the sea views and Gibraltar and you sort of go into this blur of every hole is like this now and you have to sort of take yourself out of the score and appreciate it for five minutes.

It reminded me of playing, the one I always go on about on the podcast, and Tom's going to roll his eyes now, is Dornoch.

I played Dornoch years ago before we started talking about doing a golf podcast.

I played Dornoch on a golf trip, and I was like, oh, I now see there's a new level to the kind of course you can end up on.

Because Dornoch felt like a sort of shelf that looked out onto the ocean.

And playing this course yesterday felt the same thing.

Every time I looked up, the sea was there.

And it does, and it can't help but affect your golf.

It does change.
