Timothy WeimerGuestWell, I think over the past 55 years, CSN has helped generations of Southern Nevadans earn degrees, certificates, develop new skills, prepare for careers, ultimately building better futures for the families here in Nevada.
I think also we've helped the workforce prepare and ensuring that the workforce is meeting the Southern Nevada needs.
We're providing opportunities for students and families to stay here in Nevada and contribute to the community in which they call home And so, you know, overall, I think that, you know, CSN is continuing to build better futures, better education, a place where students, you know, want to call Nevada home in Las Vegas, their community.
So in all actuality, it's the first step for students and it's where CSN can build and help students have a better future.
So I think overall, that's the impact that we've had on the community and over the last 55 years.
Now, of course, when we look at higher education options around the Valley, there's a few of them.
So why should people choose CSN over the other colleges and universities in town?
You know, we meet students where they are, regardless of their educational background or, you know, regardless of, you know, the skill sets that they have.
We provide support and resources and programs for students to meet them where they are and help them accomplish their goal, whether it's one class, if a parent is working or the family has a busy lifestyle and they're looking to take a short-term in-demand course.
We provide excellent support services to students, you know, great financial aid packages, scholarships, mentoring opportunities.
And again, we meet students where they are to help them continue with whatever the goal is that they have in mind and whatever path that they have set forward for themselves.
We all have our own lanes, but I think CSN does a great job in the lane that we've been dedicated with.
And that's, you know, meeting students where they are to help them achieve their goals.
