119. The Mic is Turned: Keltie in the Hot Seat for Season 8 & More

You and I, like, I feel like we have a little bit of a meet cute.

This is what I call it because, and I forgot about, I forgot about the early days of our relationship, but you mentioned you had a pod, you had a podcast and I was on the podcast at one point.

Can people still listen to said podcast? They can still listen to it, yeah.

So I was just listening to it today in advance of this because I was getting nostalgic.

So I did an episode.

My podcast was all about talking to people who live abroad.

And I did a whole, one of my season finales was pulling different listeners' stories about the topic of did their move abroad impact their decision to have kids or not.

It was right at the time that I was starting to have my own crisis about that question.

So you were on that as one of the voices.

And then after that, we did a full episode together.

And it was just about defining home, which maybe sounds kind of broad.

But I remember I wanted to do that topic for a while.

And I was very careful who to do it with because it is so broad.

It could go in a million directions.

And I remember when I found you, I was like...

It's her.

She and I can talk about this.

And, yeah, we got into a lot of different details about how you define home, what does and doesn't feel like home, if you get homesick or not.

And, of course, in your lovely culture way, you had so many good tips and pointers and clear-cutting questions to help people identify that for themselves.

I think you had a very clear perspective for yourself.

Or even in the areas where you weren't as clear, it was – you were comfortable in that nuance.

And I think that's the most appealing thing.

I mean, now, I mean, this is your whole business, right? Is like finding comfort in the nuance and hopefully moving towards a decision, but making that process more tolerable.

So yeah, it's really funny looking back at that and seeing how many threads of what you're up to today.

I mean, it's just a part of you, right? So it's been everything that you've done.
