The Church is full of women ready to lead, and Jess believes it's time to actually equip them. In episode three of our Women + The Church summer series, she's getting into the equipping gap: what it…
What I've been sharing with you is that I'm so excited that Go and Tell Gals, the ministry that I founded in 2018, is expanding into a nonprofit.
And we are taking all of the equipping and all of the coaching and all of the training that we have been doing in a for-profit setting, meaning they have paid and sometimes flown to Charleston, come to our retreats, come to our office, come to our online gatherings.
We are taking all of that work and we are lowering the paywall to... basically free.
But on top of that, what we're really trying to do is break this gatekeeping gap where the women who are maybe already in ministry or who already have platforms, they're getting invited to prayer calls or retreats or training moments.
But the women who are making up over half the church doing the quiet work of shining the light of Jesus aren't necessarily always having access to those types of things.
I would be so grateful if you would stay to the end and I'll tell you about how we're fundraising and what we're fundraising for.
But first, I really wanna talk about the equipping gap, like what the actual gap is.
