Basically, I wanted to create something that would be a good opener for the album.

Something like a certain statement or a story, but not too long or not too short, not 30 seconds.

But yeah, basically I wanted to just create like a statement of the opening and kind of what to expect later on in the album.

Now, this is said too much, too many comparisons, but it gave me a very distinct vibe of somebody who's listened to and enjoyed Kenny Wheeler in their past time.

The way you play, I don't know if you feel like that's something you would deliberately associate with or not, but had echoes of the kind of beauty and space that Kenny had when he played when I listened to your album.
