I opened the show by saying I'm going to put aside any social media, media dialogue around this, and I'm going to trust the experts in this particular situation.

So let's start with that first team offense, and, uh, specifically what you saw from the quarterback.
Um, you know, it w- the second play of the game I, I watched 10, 12 times, and I, I don't know what happened on the second play of the game where, where Cam Ward never set in the pocket.
And I don't know if, if something in his mind just, you know, didn't work right because the pocket was clean.
Um, helm was wide open on the intermediate out cut, which was an, a, a flood concept, meaning a three-level concept.
It was to the read side clearly, um, and then he ran out of the pocket for two yards.
Um, you know, obviously there were two third down conversions on the first series.
That was the right read, the right throw, and the throw allowed Ridley to run after catch.
Um, then the helm 16-yarder on third and 10 was a screen, so obviously that's not a difficult throw, although he did miss a screen, um, uh, to, uh, Robinson where he just made a bad throw.
Um, and then, you know, I would say overall, I would say his ball placement needs to be more precise.
Um, you know, basic stuff, you know, uh, which, y- you know, obviously you can't be a consistent pocket quarterback in the league with- if your ball placement is not prec- precise.
Um, you know, he did throw a really good ball to Tate on the speed out from the five-yard line.
That was a really good ball, but Pryock, the rookie corner, made a really good play.
Um, you know, as far as other parts of their offense, the first team offense, I thought the run game was good.
I thought the right guard, the rookie Carmona, was very good, and it started with the first play of the game when they ran duo, and he had an initial double team with Latham, and then he came off that beautifully and blocked the linebacker.
