Let me ask you something that I think is confusing to a lot of h- lot of people, anyone that is looking at windows that's never done it before, which is the benefits of the struct- stru- struct- structural integrity of fiberglass, and also the E values and the gas that goes inside.
So do us a favor, someone who's an expert at this, un-confuse it for us, please.
Uh, they have fiberglass reinforcing in them, and also they are a welded vinyl product.
So you get kind of the strength of a fiberglass product, and you get the welded corner of a vinyl product.
In fact, our Ultra Star product line, um, and uh, that, that just was introduced about three years ago, you know, we actually just went through and had it retested.
We put, uh, new hardware on it, and we had to go through the whole testing process with this.
So we were shooting for a design pressure rating, what we call a DP rating in the industry, of a 50, which makes it a really strong window suitable for multi-story buildings, uh, high wind locations.
A DP 50 is kind of the target that you wanna get to, to really say you're a strong window.
They were blown away at how much of an impact this fiberglass extruded reinforcing was-
So were you actually, um, you know, maybe compressive strength or, or, or compression? I mean, how does that work?
So you can take our product, put it into a high-rise building, it's rated as a commercial product, and blow wind against it at high levels, and it passes.
