Uh, but I've seen this big divide, and I, I hate the divide because I think that there's room for everyone, because I think that even consumers, so your guests, everybody wants a different experience, and that's okay.
And even just being from, like, a large distributor, I hate the fact that they have let go of the really small salons or the independent stylist.
That makes me crazy because I think that there's still a, uh, there's still a guest that wants to come into that type of environment and that they're okay with it.
Now, don't get me wrong, there's a guest that wants to come into that big, beautiful commission salon or even just a beautiful commission salon.
Not that independent salons can't be beautiful, because they can be, but there's sometimes a very different vibe from commission to independent.
And there's a lot of industry lies that people are told because they believe in one side or the other, and that's it.
And we can both live here, okay? And it's okay to be like, "I think that I'm a better commission stylist," or "I f- I know that I'm a better independent stylist." And are those things okay? Yup, they sure are.
Everyone online is selling you this independence or suite owner, they were, I would say.
"Oh, just work at a commission salon for a few years, get your clientele, and then go independent." What? That, that's actually terrible advice.
