GTKPRS EP. 30 | THREE NIGHTS, THIRTY EPISODES & ONE CULTURE

GTKPRS officially reaches a major milestone with Episode 30!Trap Bradshaw is joined by Uncle Trill, Lex Diamond, Steve the Producer and Precious Gorgeous, aka PG, for a heated breakdown of Jay-Z’s historic three-night takeover of Yankee Stadium.Trap gives his firsthand recap of Reasonable Doubt Night, including the appearances from Beyoncé, Nas, Blue Ivy, Memphis Bleek and Jaz-O. The panel debates whether Jay-Z and Nas genuinely admire each other, whether their legendary rivalry will always connect their legacies and whether this weekend was simply a great concert or one of the most important moments in hip-hop history. But this would not be GTKPRS without the conversation getting heated. Was Jay-Z’s Yankee Stadium celebration a victory for the culture, or has he become too corporate and disconnected from the same people who helped build him? Should Dame Dash have been involved? Does Jay owe more loyalty to the original Roc-A-Fella family, State Property and the people who helped him reach this level? The crew also debates Reasonable Doubt versus The Blueprint, ranks Jay-Z’s greatest albums, discusses his ability to control his own narrative and asks whether any other rapper could assemble a guest list featuring Beyoncé, Rihanna, Nas, Eminem, Usher, Pharrell, Alicia Keys, Jeezy, Jadakiss, Fat Joe, Swizz Beatz and more. The episode closes with a deeper conversation about Philadelphia’s history in hip-hop, the careers of Beanie Sigel, Freeway, Eve and State Property, and whether Philly rappers have always faced a glass ceiling.Three nights. Thirty episodes. One culture.Like, comment and subscribe to the ADHD Network, and let us know:Was Jay-Z’s Yankee Stadium weekend the greatest celebration of one rapper in hip-hop history?Who had the better album: Reasonable Doubt or The Blueprint? And does Jay-Z owe Dame Dash and the original Roc-A-Fella family anything today?Featuring: Trap Bradshaw, Uncle Trill, Lex Diamond, Steve the Producer and Precious Gorgeous, aka PG.#JayZ #Nas #YankeeStadium #GTKPRS #HipHopPodcast #ReasonableDoubt #TheBlueprint #DameDash #RocAFella #HipHopDebate
