John Cornyn, the incumbent senator who was defeated by Ken Paxton in the primary, and Karl Rove are actively working to help Talafrico when Cornyn, who has an absolute obligation to endorse Paxton, has refused to endorse him and looks to be working to undermine Paxton.
We know that Cornyn is bitter, as is Tillis and other of the senators that President Trump didn't like and didn't want reelected and renominated.
So it doesn't surprise me that Cornyn, who was opposed by the president, is bitter.
It does surprise me that he would seek to undermine the party's candidate, that is, if that is true, and again, I don't know that it is, but if it is true, it would be a shocking departure from the norms such as they are in politics.
Among thieves, there is honor, and apparently that doesn't extend to politicians.
If the Democrats and that's a big if because I am seeing I'm seeing signs that this thing can be won by MAGA and Republicans.
