Designers Lindsey Adelman and Gabriel Hendifar may technically be competitors, but in many ways they’re kindred spirits. Adelman has revolutionized the world of lighting for the past 20 years…
Gabriel HendifarGuestDan RubinsteinHostUm, we've been talking about this for quite a while, so I'm glad to actually be here in this incredible space, um, which will be, um, we'll be taking beautiful photos for the print issue, um, in the Apparatus studio, um, in the Red Room.

I would say right now it's serving the dining room, which is how we designed the space.

It's, um, we're in a- we're, we're at a burl wood table, and we're surrounded by mirrors, so we're kind of infinitely reflected as we have what I think is gonna be kind of like a metaphysical conversation.
but, um, Lindsey Adelman, um, you know, we're here to have this little moment, right? And to talk about something that's totally vital to life on Earth, but also extremely intangible and something people don't often think about, which is light, and the many ways in which it kind of manifests itself from design and just the spirit also.
Um, but before we get started, um, I've known you for quite some time, going back here in the New York design scene, even though I just realized a few moments before we started rolling that I've been mispronouncing your last name.
Um, one of our more popular episodes, I might add, of that season, which was, um, I looked it up, it was, um, quite successful, of course.
