But we wanted to know a little bit more about you crafting Hollis's character, and why you chose to make her so immersed in the world of food.

You guys are absolutely the best and so stylish.

So in answer to your question, Hollis originally was not a food blogger.

I started out in my first draft having her be sort of a woman, mom, guru called Everywoman, and the draft was not working.

And I thought, "What is wrong here?" And then I realized that I needed to have her be interested in something that I'm interested in.

So it's write what you know, but also write what you love.

And as any of my readers know, I love to write about food, so I made Hollis a food blogger.
