328 - Ouija (2014) Review

You want to dive into the spooky pit and then we'll rip this movie

apart? Yeah, sure, but it's week two, fucking week two of things

you don't fuck with month.

Yes, it is.

It's a

big month for us, and Ouija, at least in 2014, five friends discover a Ouija board in the belongings of their recently dead friend and awaken a dark spirit when they attempt to communicate with her.

This film was directed by Stiles White, and it stars Olivia Cooke, Anna Kodo, Darren Kagasoff, Bianca Santos, Doug Smith, Shelley Hennig, and Lynn Shea.

God, I hated the reveal and twist in this movie.

I almost wanted to punch the wall.

What's crazy, too, is it's so well done in the prequel with how it gets to this point, but it doesn't work.

In this

movie,

not

at

all.

If you want to know why this movie sucks extra, because not only does the reveal suck, the build-up to it is also terrible.

It

does.

You just don't care about anything in this movie.

I guess what bothers me the most, and I know we're just going to fucking talk shit about this movie the entire time, but it's just like you've seen this concept so many times.

This movie doesn't really add any value.

No. Dude, it's literally been blood dry.

I don't understand how this concept is still around.

The thing

is crazy because I feel like this is the time period where horror movies just really just started like... trajectory through the roof.
