Do you ever wake up and you have a flat stomach, you're feeling really good, and halfway through the day you have to unbutton your pants because your bloating is causing that tightness around your midsection? You can't even finish out the day without giving yourself a little bit more breathing room.
Or maybe all of a sudden you're thinking, "Gosh, what did I eat? Why is my stomach so upset? Is it something that I am taking or not taking? Did I eat at the wrong time? Ugh, why can't I ever just have a stomach that feels good?" Do you ever find yourself planning or making certain adjustments to plans around what your digestive system may or may not be doing? I have a friend who, when she would need to travel for work, she would literally schedule flights and pick her airplane seat near a bathroom.
She would schedule flights where it wouldn't be too early in the morning, so she would have a chance to, uh, go to the bathroom enough before she would get on a plane.
She would plan all of her travel around when she would need to be near a bathroom.
You know they exist, and all of a sudden, now that you're in your, you know, late 30s or 40s or maybe early 50s, it's gotten even worse.
And sometimes you might even think, "Good Lord, if it's this much work and effort to try and eat super healthy just to not have the right result, what's the point anyway? Or even if I do eat something that's not great for me or go have some fast food, it doesn't cause that much of an issue sometimes, so what's the use?" This can be one of the most frustrating things that women deal with, so we're gonna dive into it today in this episode.
