Send us Fan Mail Your body may not recover the way it used to—but the harder part may be accepting what that means for the athlete you still expect…
We're going to bypass our catch-up kind of stuff.
So I really want to get into this topic.
I think this topic has actually spurred more conversations between Katie and I offline.
I mean, we just finished talking for close to 40 minutes about an offshoot from this topic that we think that we're going to incorporate in at some point in time.
Yeah, but we
want to do some more research in order to bring in a more well-rounded.
I think that we're committed to not taking a stance on a particular position, but we are committed to producing content that evaluates both sides of the argument.
So that way you can make the decision that you need to make for your own self so that you are well-informed.
I'm not willing to step out there and take a stance on yes or no, because I think that there's valid arguments on either side of it.
But I do want us to be able to do some more research first before we bring that to you.
So it is in the queue.
So thank you.
So like a deeper dive into that testosterone therapy hormone.
We'll be back with that.
Just be on the lookout.
I don't know when that will be, probably like September or October at this point, because we have quite a few things kind of on the docket.
So I wanted to revisit just a few things from last time that I mentioned, and I felt like maybe I wasn't as prepared as I could have been with the exact...
So I wanted to revisit the first one was when I was talking about the hormone replacement therapy in that particular study that was kind of controversial.
It was actually a study from 2002.
And the early findings were that there were some major health risks, including the higher chances of breast cancer and blood clots in older participants.
Right.
So I want to just take a note on that because I think that was the major issue, part of the major issue with the study.
And then like the later studies really looked into this and they showed that it was mostly in people ages 65 and above and not in women in early menopause.
So what they were kind of showing was that If you start hormone replacement on the earlier side, it's protective.
