Our first in person podcast is here! We react to the late drama that’s occurred with Bryson DeChambeau moving him from 1 to 3 shots back of the lead heading into the weekend, as well as talking about…
Stamp or no stamp?
I think absolute stamp.
Stamped,
yeah.
You think that? Yeah,
I think stamp.
I think stamp.
I think that...
Yeah, it's gone in a few times, hasn't it? I think the one before he hits it is a bit egregious, but then the two beforehand doesn't look great from the camera angle we've got.
I think if they don't give it, they're going to look a bit silly if he goes on to win the golf tournament pretty easily.
But you said something that I agree with, where we just got up and played some holes in the complete pitch black, that he could well win from here.
You reckon? I
agree.
I think he'll go and win from here.
I think the interesting thing of the rule, that they've given is inadvertently.
So is that suggesting that he didn't mean to at all? I don't know if that matters, but I believe he cheated and I believe he meant to do it.
I've got no doubt about that.
Golfers are nobodies like being in the long rough or the bracket or whatever.
you will try and prove your lie and if you know it's illegal it's not you won't prove that line and he did it more than
once i think the live i think the live reaction to me i've never shot myself more i've never shot myself more we need to get a slow-mo back on that because i have completely walking in front of the door
anyway a hundred percent cheating he knows what he's doing and um i think dame lordo talks about the line of the hole that doesn't matter it's a it's a rounder's ball he's improved the lie of his ball he's improved the way his club's been um his lane he's improved the visual of his shot over the ball all these different things um So I've got no problem with it, but yeah, it'd be interesting to see what he goes and does now.
I think, and again, we're relaying this discussion we had earlier when it came out that this was a potential sort of ruling or a topic of discussion.
I'll admit, you'll admit, we've both tried to push the boundaries with that sort of rule before.
