Viktor Hovland

I'll tell you a fun story.

Victor Hovland last year had missed four cuts in a row, and he's on the back of the range at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club Orlando, and he's working with Grant Waite.

And I walk over and hang out for 30 or 40 minutes.

And Victor has these swings on his phone from when he really liked the way he was hitting the ball and he wants to get back to that swing.

That was probably his game plan at the moment, and... you know what, this is why he's 39 and he's only won a couple of times.

And, you know, he's there searching for points in Bermuda and, you know, somebody like, like a Scotty Scheffler would have been trying to make that shot in a playoff or Victor Hovland.

Like they, they would have just been trying to make that shot.

And obviously Seamus was not.

And it just tells you how hard it is to win.

Victor Hovland would have been trying to make it.

Cause he's like, well, I'm going to be 15 feet away anyway.

I might as well try to

What? What are we watching here? Well, look at the alumni from the Spirit International.

Scotty Scheffler, Jordan Spieth, Lorena Ochoa, Paula Kramer, Victor Hovland.

I mean.

Sam Bennett, Cole Hammer, you will come out and watch the future of the game.

We have a lot of guys that mispracticed this week and might be out.

to the concussions and some other things, uh, like Hovland, uh, Newsome.

So it's going to be, it's definitely going to be, I want to say a shootout.

Um, the thing is, is can, uh, JJ protect the ball while also, uh, not turning it over.

Sorry to cut you off.

Victor Hovland.

Okay.

So he hits that kind of pull cut.

uh six seven years ago tiger woods i mean tigers he's pretty good iron player

pretty good

and then i it's kind of weird but i'm gonna go back to victor hovland like that swing to me is i think it's because that's what i wish my game looked like whatever motor patterns he had where he had the strong you know kind of a shut face and made sure that his swing was further left than his face was pointing i i really just think it's a really A really good looking swing with a really controlled and desirable shot shape.

The way I'm seeing it.
