Why I Moved From Kit to Flodesk - & Why This Isn't Really About Email Software [Ep 256]

Today, we're talking about something that has generated a lot of questions in my world over the last week or so.

I have moved my email list from Kit to Flowdesk.

And before anyone panics, this is not a Kit versus Flowdesk episode.

This is not me telling everyone to move providers.

This is not me saying that one platform is better than another.

I actually still wholeheartedly love and recommend Kit all the time.

I think it's an incredible platform.

But I think this is a really important conversation because it highlights something much bigger than email service providers.

Sometimes your business changes.

And when your business changes, your tools might need to change too.

Now, this isn't really about email software.

It's about my business.

It's about my life.

It's about the season that I'm in because my business today looks very different to the business that I was running a few years ago.

Anyone that is on the inside that's a part of my world might know that I've had some stuff going on in my personal life.

And so when personal seasons feel heavy...

when they feel like they are a lot to hold, something has to give, something has to change.

So I made a decision at the start of the year that I was going to pivot my business a little bit, pivot what I'm offering in my business a little bit.
