Essentially, guys, Rain's due date was August 7th, but as I started to near the end of July, I just started to get quite uncomfortable.

I've had a pretty smooth pregnancy, but last few weeks, just like it is for most people, was more uncomfortable for me.

I had pelvic pain, and towards basically, like, the, the week before she came, that pelvic pain became so brutal.

So I was getting about 6,000 steps in a day no matter what, because I really wanted to make sure that during labor she was sitting really low.

And you know, guys, everything that I did throughout my pregnancy was to ensure that I had a as smooth of a labor process as possible, and as smooth of a recovery process as possible.

Now, I wanna preface this by saying that there is so much when it comes to labor that you absolutely cannot control, and that was really my mentality when it came to labor.

I was always very open, I was always very relaxed, and I knew that you can have a birth plan, but my doula said that it actually should be a birth intention instead.

Because otherwise I think women put a lot of pressure on themselves for their labor to go exactly like they have written down, and truth is that that isn't always the case.

And, you know, there's so much out of your control, and so, you know, no matter what your birthing process is, I think removing the pressure from ourselves is really, really important.

So all, all of that to say, you know, I've, I've gone off on this little tangent.

I really, really did want to do whatever I could do to prepare to have a smooth, as smooth a labor process as I could.

I was doing exercises on my, like, my yoga ball, and just, like, n- regular exercises as well to prepare myself for birth as much as I could.

[laughs] Also, at that point, I would say after, like, 32-ish, 33-ish weeks, I wasn't really able to work out the same way anymore.

I couldn't really do Pilates or weightlifting because my pelvic pain had started to, like, really ramp up.

And then, you know, when it was the last two weeks, I couldn't really even swim, and so I was just doing all of these exercises on my yoga ball, and j- you know, squats and all of these things.

So I would say around Wednesday, Thursday, the previous week, I started to get, like...
