Ms. Tannous is physics lab supervisor at LAU in Byblos, and she is waving the flag for women in science, waving them forward.

We wanted to get to know a little bit about why you're so excited about women in science and why you see this as such an opportunity.

Well, personally, as a woman in science, I got to have so many opportunities that helped me in my career and also in my personal life.

That's why I would like to share these opportunities with young professionals, with younger students, to showcase them the opportunities they could have in science and in STEM in general.

For example, I was able to participate in international programs like Tech Women, Peel, and Start Life, where I got to fly all over the world and talk about women in science.

For example, in Tech Women, it's a program with the US Department of State and the IIE.

I got one month of experience with mentors from all over the world and to learn a lot more and to showcase all these opportunities also in my career.

I remember when I was listening to you, I kept thinking, this is a wonderful travel podcast

Physics for me and science in general and STEM shouldn't be this very dull subject.

It can be something that can help you to travel and to learn a lot of new things and to meet a lot of people all over the world.
