We always hear stories, and sometimes we'll see this, oh, I don't know, on TV, talk shows, different things where people are reunited, and they forgive each other.
I think it's one of these things when it works well and when both people come together with a open heart and with a sense of understanding our own shortcomings, understanding that I'm not perfect either.
Forgiveness is very, very beautiful in that sense because it's very freeing for both parties.
And we hear a lot of stories of people saying, gosh, I wasted so much time being angry.
And that Okay, you know, it's one of those things that we need to consider in terms of, and what I mean by okay is, I don't mean that it's good.
It's, you know, you're going to talk to so many different people who say, yeah, I couldn't forgive him because I couldn't let him off the hook.
And we hear about friendships forming again, even better than ever, and people are never going to fight again.
But the question comes up, and the more difficult, challenging question is, what if it's myself who I have to forgive, who I'm not letting off the hook, who I am living with all day long, because essentially, If I'm by myself, and I mean, only I have to live with myself, really, only I have to live with my internal life.
People have to live, my family has to live with my emotions, my attitude, and things of that nature that might be a representation of my internal life.
But we've all seen people who maybe aren't very kind or who are always frustrated.
People who walk around and it seems like they blame everybody else for everything that's going on in their life if their life is not perfect.
