In this episode, I’m joined by Nicole for a conversation about what happens when we stop forcing ourselves into the paths we think we’re supposed to follow, and start allowing something deeper to…
Nicole PopeGuestHollis MMHostBecause there is also something about that kind of experience that is really magical.
When we, when we are directed and guided down a path that maybe we weren't expecting at all, but we release any resistance or any fear, and we just let ourselves be carried, and how, how we can find ourselves on the other side of that path supported and strong and with really capable businesses in this very material world, and, um, and without the fear and without the doubt that can often accompany the journey of being an entrepreneur or building a business.

And it's, it's such a beautiful and wonderful journey because I felt like in my prior roles, I was always pushing-

... and trying to go where I felt like I needed to go, or even in the co- corporate world where biz- where they wanted me.

Um, and in my side hustles, again, where I just felt like this is a lucrative career or something that could be a lucrative career.

And so I always followed the, the path that I thought was the best path for me, and it was so interesting because the best, best path for me actually found me, and it was just effortlessly walking through it and walking into it and allowing the things to come to me.

And I'm learning how, uh, like magical divine feminine, feminine energy is in business, but also at the same time, like, you still need the divine masculine, the doing, the producing, the marketing, and all these things.

But it's almost secondary to letting the business come to you and form you and guide you, and using those, those more structured abilities to push forward in the business in the way that it wants to move forward instead of the way that I think it needs to move forward.
I can't tell you how perfect t- the ti- the timing is for our [laughs] this conversation, Nicole, because I feel like I'm personally going through that in my own business right now, where I've, I've been somebody that's been very focused on following a schedule and telling myself when I need to produce things and when I need to create things and being very rigid about my creative process and my timing.
And, um, as an astrologer, it can be really easy to follow what the timing is of the planets are saying or what you're interpreting the timing is saying, rather than following your own intuition or following what's being pulled, where you're being naturally pulled.
And, um, and I'm going through a, just personally right now, a change where I'm letting myself f- move more organically or follow, as you said, the divine feminine energy of, you know, what is my intuition actually telling me to do right now? What do I feel called to do right now? Do I actually feel called to, you know, put out this piece of content? Do I feel called to create this workshop or this offering? Is it actually something that I feel that I want to do, or is it something that I feel like I have to do because the idea of my business says- I, I should be doing, I should be doing this thing right now.
And it's such an interesting balance that I think a lot of, again, entrepreneurs struggle with a lot of the time of, you know, they want to be following what their, what their calling is and what their soul-led business would look like.
But operating in a very, like, masculine paradigm of the world that we're in is, is very tricky to navigate sometimes.
