definitely a fashion, isn't it? And I always say that the biggest example for me of that was black, changing from coloured to black back to off-colour.

It was just such an obvious thing of moving with the fashion and trying to catch out people who hadn't kept up.

It must feel really good to be able to say, like, this is the word you're supposed to use, which was coloured, which I

You're supposed to use the word coloured because it doesn't sound as harsh as black, which has a B and a K and it's a real harsh word.

And then when everybody in the world had then finally realised they're not supposed to say coloured anymore, there were still a few old football commentating dinosaurs who didn't realise.

And it was great fun for all the people who changed those rules, like university students, to catch them out and basically say, not just you're racist, but what they're really saying is you're not fashionable like us.

You haven't caught up with the latest lingo we changed that word from coloured to black years ago and you still haven't caught up with our new struggle session lingo and finally we got to a point where even even football commentators knew not to even like my grandparents had died like there was no one left who still said coloured everyone was saying black well how boring is that everyone's just getting it right all the time what's the point so then they changed it back to of colour to try and catch people out again
