Georgia remains a three and a half point road favorite.

Remember Georgia now number two in the first installment of the college football playoff rankings.

Ole Miss comes in at number 10.

Now there are going to be a lot of interesting factors to this game.

But I think this one might be as important as any.

It's Georgia being explosive when the opportunity arises.

Ole Miss has allowed more 20-plus yard passes than any other team in the SEC.

Ole Miss has allowed 31 of those plays this season.

Interestingly enough, Georgia also has created 31 pass plays of 20 yards or more throughout the season.

That puts Georgia number two in the SEC.

So here, let me give you a little breakdown of this.

Georgia has 31 pass plays of more than 20 yards.

They have 16 pass plays of over 30 yards, nine of over 40, and five pass plays of over 50 yards.

In the national rankings, Georgia's number 34 in that category.

Again, 20-yard pass plays or more.

Georgia's number two in the SEC behind only Alabama, who's created 37 pass plays of more than 20 yards.

Now, you can look at the last couple of games.

That number has started to slow down a little bit.

Georgia has only created six passing plays of more than 20 yards in their last two games against Auburn and Florida.

But this is a defense that should allow for Mike Bobo and Gunnar Stockton to take some shots, and you have to.

We talked about what happened against Florida where Georgia kind of pulled in the reins.

There was a lot of quick passing game, a lot of screens, a lot of things right at the line of scrimmage.

Well, in this game, as long as the offensive line can protect, if you're a gunner, you've got to pull the trigger on some of these deep shots.

I'll give you an idea of who's been on the receiving end throughout this season.

Craig Dandridge, who's really come on.
