Laurie FlandersGuestRobbie YoungHostOutside of being a very in-demand woman, can you tell us a little bit more about Strum Platform and where and how it adds value to credit unions?

Strum Platform, at its core, it helps credit unions become the primary financial partner for their members, right? The majority of institutions out there have an incredible amount of data, Robbie, and that's one of the things that, you know, we have every data point about our members' lives inside of the four walls of a credit union.

Where they work, where they live, where they spend their money, you know everything about them.

Unfortunately, this data is spread across dozens of systems in some organizations.

These systems don't always speak to each other and everything living in different places really creates that siloed type data environment.

So strong platform starts by bringing all of that information together in one place and then goes through a series of enrichments.

So that way you're able to see your member as a complete person instead of a collection of accounts.

It really starts telling you about who they are as an individual, what hobbies and interests they have, what type of music they listen to, so that credit unions can be way more intentional about their communication as well as how they drive growth.

It makes sure that you're able to identify opportunities before members ask.

you're able to get in front of the member before they consider leaving your organization, or you're able to really step in to their life stage and ensure that you're offering them products that really make a difference in where they are in their life, making sure that instead of guessing, you're providing real financial value.
Why not utilize to create a better member experience overall and really support the members where they are in their stage of life? So credit unions have no shortage of that member data that you're talking about, yet many still struggle to deliver personalized experiences.
What's preventing them from turning that data into something stronger to build that stronger member relationships?

It's so funny because I actually just spoke on something very similar to this recently.

I think that somewhere along the way, we confused having data with understanding data.

Just because you have the data or you have a bunch of dashboards or you have the ability to access things does not mean that you truly understand what to do with that data or that that data is driving you towards actions.

Data is in abundance and you're able to really understand your member better than you have in the past.
