This is not good.
It's not funny, but it must be mentioned.
We've been kind of avoiding this story for a couple days now, and it just is not going to go away.
So I think I'm going to use this as a PSA of what not to do.
Yeah, probably.
Her name is Christine Chow, and she's 44 years old, and she's been charged with automobile homicide while using a handheld device.
What does that mean? Well, here's what happened on June 12th.
A three-car accident had occurred.
Looks like it's kind of in the middle of nowhere.
I'm looking at the photos from the crash, and it's like out in the middle of nowhere, desert, no buildings as far as the eye can see kind of situation.
Well...
There was construction in the area.
Traffic was slowing down and she was driving behind two other vehicles and she hit the one in front of her.
As they slowed down, she pushed their car into another car and all three left the roadways.
So first responders arrived.
She's like, yep, it was me.
And I think she was hoping maybe, you know, there'd be no further investigation into what could have possibly caused it.
But she, because someone died as a result of the crash, they definitely did a full investigation and found As they seized her phone, they're like, why did she not brake? Because there were no brake marks on the road.
They're like, why would she not brake? Because she was watching a pornographic video while driving.
They saw she accessed the video website two minutes before the crash occurred.
Weirdly, she's not being arrested.
I find that odd.
That's
very odd.
