Will PritikinGuestChaseHostSo then let's talk about the hardships.
What were some of those difficult things in the beginning that maybe you would do a little differently this time around?

Yeah, well, where do I start? So at the beginning of my career, I started doing multifamily development.

And the first project I ever worked on, and I was fresh out of grad school, was a six-unit apartment building in the city.

And, you know, if I were to do that again now, I would have approached it totally different because we jumped into it so optimistically, courageously optimistically, which is, by the way, how all things start, right? And the amount of planning and effort and pre-construction and design work, we just didn't have it all together.

And then if I kind of continue in the hardships in my career, You know, it has always come from having a lack of information and being really bullish, really optimistic, really rose-colored glasses.

And for me, you know, and I'm sure many other entrepreneurs, many other founders, this is our blessing and our curse, right? We wouldn't do it if we didn't have a certain amount of blind optimism in the world.

And the reoccurring lesson, I would say, for me, is the more information you have, the more methodical you can be, the better off you'll be.

So for me, it's always been a matter of Better pre-construction, better partners, and kind of getting over the head trash of needing to invest real money up front to get a great outcome in the back end.
Absolutely.
