Now, we're talking about your reach, and you're obviously doing, doing broadcasts all over the state, uh, in terms of your, uh, your broad- your, your bulletins and so on.

Um, as a, a, a member for a, you know, regional electorate, how do you make sure that your reach that you're getting represents, uh, it's not just sort of, you know, the Hobart bubble, I suppose-

... to, to use a, a term that probably is a bit negative.

But how do you make sure that those regional voices get, get heard? How do you get that journalism from, you know, Burnie, Devonport, Launceston, Scottsdale? How do you, how do you incorporate that into your reach?

Yeah.

It's a great question, Shane.

And, you know, for us, our audience is right across the state.

Uh, we reach people everywhere from Smithton to Cockle Creek, um, everywhere in between.

And so making sure that our content is reflective of that really broad Tasmanian audience is, is really important for us.

Um, obviously a lot of content is always gonna come from Hobart.

Hobart is the capital city.

It's where our Parliament House is.

Yeah.

It's where a lot of the news happens.

Um, but we make a real effort to ensure that, that we do represent, uh, everyone everywhere.

And right now our physical presence is limited to the south.

We, we have our office down here in Hobart.

We have staff that travel to the north when there's something big.

Um, and of course we have contributors on the ground.

You know, they see something happening in Burnie or, or Scottsdale, Bridport, they'll send it through and, and our team down in Hobart can, can work on that and, uh, fact-check that and, and get that out.

Um, but I think having more of a presence in these regional and, and rural areas across the state is really important.

Uh, we're hoping to employ, uh, a journalist in Launceston very soon.

We'll, uh, ideally be looking to open up a, a satellite office up there.

Um, potentially down the track, maybe even in, in the northwest too, um, because I think telling those, those stories everywhere is really, really important.
