Emma Victoria Johnson joins Brian Nichols to reveal the $275,000 mistake she made after a stage 4 breast cancer diagnosis at 43... and why Mexico's medical tourism boom is catching so many patients…
Emma Victoria JohnsonGuestBrian NicholsHostWell, and let's talk about this because we had Dr. Contreras on the show a few weeks, almost a month ago, probably, or so at this point.
But he was talking about how there are some of these organizations down in Mexico where they will have folks come out and they will only offer this holistic approach.
They offer both the holistic approach, but also more of that traditional medicine approach where they will utilize some of the more traditional tools like chemo, for example.
For folks who are hearing this today, to help them better understand kind of the approach that Oasis of Hope takes when they're onboarding patients to help you determine what the best plan of attack is when you're going after your cancer.
So they don't, they threw, they don't, they don't throw all the tools out the box.
Um, you know, they do a bit of a mixture altogether, but this is what I love about Oasis.
Um, when we talk about the chemotherapy, there is, um, there is an IV that we do called IPT.
Um, and it's, um, it's not the traditional chemotherapy that you do in a hospital.
It literally just takes the bit of chemo that kills the cancer and it goes into an IV.
So it's a complete different kind of chemotherapy that they use in the hospitals.
