I did see that today, this morning, this is a fresh one hot off the press.
This is the video game industry.
Xbox is laying off 3,200 employees, 20% of its workforce.
They're also spinning off or selling Arcane Lion, Compulsion Studios, Double Fine.

I was going to
mention that later,

But that was pretty crazy.
I've been
following all of it pretty closely.
20% of its workforce is fucking nuts.
And they're doing half of that today.
They fired them? 16,000 employees.
Jeez.
Well, you know, it
really – and, you know, like you said, we will talk more about this later on in the episode, but it does fall in line with a lot of these trends we've seen in the media industry as a whole in the last – Half, you know, six months to a year, which is mass consolidation that comes in the form of, you know, you know, getting rid of physical media like we'll talk about that comes in the form of mass layoffs, you know, as they consolidate power within these these companies.
So it really it's unfortunate.
